Register company Hong Kong are no longer required to have Common Seal. The updated HK companies regulations (i.e. the NEW Hong Kong Corporations Ordinance, which took effect on March 3, 2014) give Hong Kong companies more flexibility by allowing them to preserve or adopt and use their common seals, however this is no longer required.
As a result, if a company preserves a common seal, it can choose whether or not to execute a document under it.
